Michael Y Koyama

Michael was born and raised in California and moved to Hawaii in 1980. He attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and graduated from the Regents College in Albany, New York. With more than 39 years of real estate and investment experience, Michael has earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation, and has consistently been a Multi-Million Dollar Sales Producer throughout his career including the prestigious Prudential Legend Award which is awarded to agents who have achieved the Chairman's Circle (Prudential's highest national sales award category) for 5 years or more. 

Michael has assisted clients in the acquisition or sale of property valued at over $237 million helping first time home buyers, seasoned investors with 1031 exchanges as well as buyers and sellers of luxury single family homes and condos, vacant lots and multi-family buildings. 

Michael is also an avid real estate investor and has been an equity owner of 38 residential and commercial properties in various emerging markets including: Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada and Georgia.  Michael's diverse property ownership over the past 3-1/2 decades includes: 9 principal residences, 13 transactions via 1031 exchange, 5 properties acquired using 401k funds, 11 properties utilizing seller financing, and 4 properties acquired with zero down payment. 

Michael's previous job experience as a stockbroker and financial advisor with Prudential Securities gave him the opportunity to help clients with their investment decisions.
