Oahu homes tend to sell faster in June than any other month, when Days on Market are 10% lower than average. So, savvy sellers will want to position their homes to sell in the summer months, while buyer interest is seasonally high.

Tips for sellers

Ideally, the home should be in good condition. Highly upgraded homes are always desirable, but depending on the available inventory in your neighborhood, major upgrades may not be necessary. However, sellers should complete minor repairs prior to listing whenever possible to increase curb appeal. Finally, because homebuying is often an emotional process, sellers should consider professional home staging to create a welcoming, homey feeling.
