Locations Names New Partners, Chief Administration Officer, Corporate Treasurer

HONOLULU – (Jan. 22, 2021) Realtors® Jeff Iwashita and Cory Takata became Locations’ newest partner and associate partner in January 2021, joining an elite group of 27 partners in the firm.

“Both Jeff and Cory are highly accomplished Realtors® known for their top-notch client service and utmost professionalism,” said President and CEO of Locations Jason Lazzerini. “Each one of our Locations Partners exemplifies the very best of their profession and serves as a mentor to our more than 200 agents,” Lazzerini added. “I am confident that Jeff and Cory will add great value to this accomplished group, and I look forward to their continued contributions to the firm.”

 

Jeff Iwashita, Partner

A Realtor® with Locations for his entire eight-year real estate career, Jeff Iwashita has earned several awards for client service and sales performance, including Locations’ Master's Circle Club, Sapphire Society Club and Diamond Society Club awards. He also received Locations’ Client Service award from 2016 to 2018, and has been named to Honolulu Magazine’s Best in Real Estate. Iwashita holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of San Diego and is an active volunteer with the Locations Foundation. Cory Takata, Associate Partner

Licensed since 2014, Cory Takata has been a Realtor® with Locations for his entire real estate career. Throughout his time at Locations, Takata has received numerous awards for his exceptional sales performance and client ratings, including Top Newcomer in 2015 and the Locations Client Service Award from 2016 to 2019. He has also been named to the exclusive Locations Platinum Society, as well as Honolulu Magazine's Best in Real Estate from 2017 to 2019. Takata serves on the board for Abilities Unlimited, an organization that provides opportunities for adults with disabilities, and is a volunteer with the Locations Foundation. Renee Dona, Chief Administration Officer

Renee Dona was promoted from director of human resources to chief administration officer for Locations. In her new role, Dona is responsible for the firm’s daily administrative operations and human resources functions, as well as facilities management, compensation and engagement and corporate communications. Prior to joining Locations, Dona was director of corporate administration & human resources for Atlanta-based PEMCO, Ltd., a real estate services provider for the federal government. At PEMCO, Dona was responsible for the hiring, training and performance of more than 80 staff members with responsibilities ranging from accounting and vendor management, to valuations, property listings, and contracts and closings. Dona has 21 years of corporate administration experience managing human resources, financial accounting, marketing and information technology functions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Strayer University. Arnold Ku, Corporate Treasurer

Arnold Ku was promoted from controller, a position he held for 16 years, to corporate treasurer. In his new role, Ku is responsible for all aspects of the firm's financials, including accounting, budgeting, strategic financial planning, risk analysis, job costing, assigned deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing. Ku has 30 years of experience in financial management of real estate and service-oriented businesses. He holds a degree in accounting from Chaminade University.
