Experienced Agents Atau Sakuma and Megumi Nekotani Announced as Locations’ Newest Partners

HONOLULU – (DRAFT – October 11, 2016) – Locations, Hawaii’s largest real estate firm – announced Atau Sakuma and Megumi Nekotani as the newest Partners within the company. A Partner at Locations is a Realtor who demonstrates sustained excellence in sales performance, who contributes to the growth and success of the firm, and who is regarded in the industry and among the public for their sales capabilities, professionalism, and business integrity.

Since being established in 1974, the Partner program at Locations has been a driving force behind the continued success of the firm and the productivity of Locations’ agents. With the addition of Sakuma and Nekotani, the Locations Partner group now has 35 members.

Atau Sakuma

Atau Sakuma has over a decade of experience in local and national real estate and handles over $11 million in sales annually. Sakuma joined Locations in 2007 and has been recognized as a Salesperson of the Year, an Oahu Top 100 Realtor Award, and for various client service awards.

Prior to joining Locations, Sakuma led the real estate sales expansion of a Japanese export company in Seattle, Washington and was a transaction coordinator and realtor for RE/MAX before moving to Hawaii. Sakuma is fluent in Japanese and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his wife and five kids.

Megumi Nekotani

Megumi Nekotani joined the Locations team in 2003 where she has nurtured a broad client base, including Japanese nationals. Nekotani has over a decade of experience in real estate sales and handles over $37 million in sales annually. She has been consecutively nominated for the annual Aloha Aina Awards and won the Excellence in Project Sales award.

Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Nekotani fell in love with Hawaii during a family vacation and vowed to come back to the islands after graduation. As a Japanese national, Nekotani finds herself able help address and connect the local real estate market and the Japanese client base. She currently lives in Kaimuki with her husband and two daughters and when she’s not with her clients, she enjoys gardening and singing karaoke.
