Locations Foundation Clothing Drive Nets Big Wins



The results of the 9th annual Locations Foundation clothing drive are in, and a whopping 8,151 pounds of clothing, shoes, slippers and linens were collected. The clothing and other items will be divided equally among the Foundation's three partner organizations: United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii, Institute for Human Services (IHS) and Partners in Development - Ka Paalana Homeless Family Education Program.

In addition, the Locations Foundation will donate $8,151 to be divided equally among these three organizations. 

"We're humbled by the generosity of our agents, their clients and the public," said Michael Marks, vice president of client engagement for Locations and chair of the clothing drive. "I'm also pleased to announce that this year's clothing drive garnered nearly 400 more pounds of clothing than last year's drive."

Our partner organizations

  • The United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults with cerebral palsy or other severe disabilities with similar service needs. 
  • The Institute for Human Services (IHS) provides food and shelter to Hawaii’s homeless as well as offering a wide variety of supportive services that allow individuals to reconnect, heal and succeed. 
  • Partners in Development - Ka Paalana Homeless Family Education Program assists families by providing basic needs items as well as educational programming to equip families toward greater self-sufficiency and prepare children for school success.

The Locations Foundation Clothing Drive is Hawaii’s largest corporate-sponsored clothing drive, and has donated more than 50,000 pounds of clothing for Hawaii's children and families in need since 2011.
