New Year's Eve Pineapple Drop

At precisely 7:00 pm a twelve-foot tall, six-foot round lighted pineapple will drop from the 40-foot flag pole near the Consolidated Theatres to coincide with the ball drop in Times Square.
"It's the perfect way for families with little kids to enjoy the fun and festivities of New Year's Eve without having to stay out late," says Chrissy Wood, assistant property manager at the Town Center of Mililani. "And for those parents who intend to go out, there's plenty of time to get the kids to the babysitter's and get ready for Hawai'i's New Year's Eve." There will be activities and food booths for the family to enjoy, in addition to a confetti cannon show during the actual pineapple drop.
