August may be halfway over, but there's still plenty of family fun to be found in Hawaii Kai this month. Our Neighborhood Experts compiled a list of Hawaii Kai happenings in August- from attending a concert to harvesting your own veggies!

Hawaii Kai Towne Center

Marina Farmer’s Market

7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Every Wednesday
7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Every Saturday

Find locally grown produce at the Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s Farmer’s Market, located behind Panda express, along the marina. For more information, click here.

Zumba

9 - 10 a.m. | Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
9 - 10 a.m. and 6 - 7 p.m. | Tuesday and Wednesday

Dance your cares away with the whole family at a Zumba class this month! Classes are located in front of the stage between Panda Express and Starbucks. Cost: $7 per class. For more information, click here.

Mele on the Marina Festival

3 – 8 p.m. | Saturday, August 24th

Enjoy hula from Halau ‘O Napuala‘ikauika‘iu at 3 p.m., followed by father and son duo Jon Osorio & Duncan Kamakana at 4 p.m. and the band Ten Feet at 6:30 p.m. For more information, click here.

Keiki and Plow

Open Farm

9 – 11 a.m. | Every Tuesday and Friday

Bring the keiki along to this organic, working farm in Hawaii Kai to play in the dirt and explore the farm while you harvest your own fresh eggs, veggies and herbs. For more information, click here.
