Job Opportunity: Content Production Manager and Social Media Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for implementing the company’s online content and social media strategy, resulting in
generating inbound website traffic and links. This role reports directly to marketing and works with
marketing and sales teams to support their respective missions.

1.  Company Content Production

  • Work with marketing and sales to produce and create company real estate related content
  • Acts as the “Prudential Locations Hawaii Real Estate Reporter”
  • Execute editorial calendar for company produced content
  • Report and blog on company events
  • Leverage existing content and real estate market analysis produced in‐house
  • Organize and produce content by collecting information from experts, including interviews, videos and photos
  • Create engaging neighborhood blogs with lifestyle content
  • Promote distribution of content both locally and nationally through social media and other means of outreach, including guest postings.
  • Monthly field trips to neighborhoods to take photos for upcoming neighborhood blog campaigns
  • Manage, track and report outside engagement.

2.  Agent Content Production

  • Leverage the agent’s expertise and knowledge by working with them to produce articles
  • Work with agents to create an annual editorial calendar which results in a series of articles specific to that agent’s strengths
  • Work with agents to produce content that paints the agent as an approachable, likeable expert inreal estate
  • Become an “evangelist” of agent blogging
  • Collect success stories of business received or helped by blogging.
  • Create video of testimonials of success stories.

3.  Social Media

  •  Maintain company’s social media presence across multiple channels.
  • Update Wednesday social media contest
  • Promote company events through social media advertising
  • Reporting and social media ROI.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to generate credibility, trust and respect throughout the company
  • Strong writing, revising, interviewing and editing ability
  • Ability to form strong partnerships with employees and agents
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and be responsive to the needs of other business owners, divisions and departments
  • Positive attitude that remains consistent despite challenging or changing situations
  • Understands when it’s appropriate to escalate matters needing management attention
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior in all dealings and interactions
  • Exercises sound judgment in addressing issues
  • Achieves and maintains a high level of technical and tactical competency.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years’ experience with digital content production
  • Strong writing, editing, revising and proofreading abilities
  • Strong graphic design or interactive design skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable conducting interviews
  • Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects
  • Ability to take a content idea from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to the real estate
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Basic knowledge of principles of SEO
  • Local social media influencer preferred
  • Marketo experience a plus
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Video production experience a plus
  • Sales, community management experience a plus.

MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND COMMUNICATION DEMANDS
Requires working under minimal supervision to meet daily deadlines; must be able to solve complex issues and
exercise discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Requires attention to detail and accuracy.
Requires prolonged sitting and computer work with occasional lifting and moving boxes. Requires effective
communication with people at all levels of the organization and outside vendors. Ability to maintain a positive
and professional attitude. Requires the ability to deal with constant requests for assistance with patience and
tolerance. May require travel to vendors.
