Locations Sr. V.P. of Development Honored by Pacific Business News

Robin Markle, Senior Vice President of Development for Locations, was named a 2021 Women Who Mean Business honoree by Pacific Business News on August 6.

The award recognizes the accomplishments and impact of 40 of some of Hawaii's most successful businesswomen in a wide range of industries, including real estate, health care, insurance and education.

About Robin

Robin joined Locations in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for developer sales managed by the brokerage. Her extensive knowledge of affordable and reserved housing, coupled with her passion for helping first-time homebuyers enter the Hawaii real estate market, make Robin an invaluable asset to Locations and to the community.

“Robin's many contributions have raised the profile of Locations and our agents across Hawaii’s residential real estate development community,” said Locations President and CEO Jason Lazzerini. “She challenges her team of agents to excel in new project sales, and provides the support and encouragement necessary to enable their success,” he added.

Robin has managed more than 15 developer sales, including Ke Kilohana, Kapiolani Residence, Keauhou Place, Ilikai Waikiki, Allure Waikiki and The Watermark, and she is currently representing Locations in the sale of Ulana, the latest 697-unit tower from Howard Hughes at Ward Village, and the sales of A'ali'i and Ililani in Kaka’ako. Robin is a respected leader at Locations, managing Locations’ all-women Projects Department staff and 26 agents on three projects teams. She also works closely with Locations’ Marketing and Research Departments.

Despite her many responsibilities at Locations, Robin finds time to remain active in her community. She is a volunteer member of, and one-percent donor to, the Locations Foundation our charitable nonprofit that supports more than one hundred local family- and children-focused nonprofit organizations. She is also an active volunteer with the Hawaii Food Bank, and she has previously volunteered with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Help Understanding and Group Support for Children with Traumatic Diseases (HUGS) and Parents and Children Together (PACT).

Robin’s previous career experience includes more than two decades of experience in executive sales and marketing positions for IBM and Dodge, Tanaka and Dodge Inc. She launched her real estate career in 2000, earning numerous accolades for client service, including the prestigious Aloha ‘Aina REALTOR® Award. She is a graduate of Punahou School and the University of Colorado.
