Locations' Coronavirus Response

 

Our worlds are changing quickly. As we navigate this uncharted time together, Locations is adapting our business to ensure the health and safety of our clients, our agents and our island community.

While Oahu is under a stay-at-home order, real estate is considered to be an essential business. So, while our offices are closed, Locations agents are still hard at work to serve our clients.

Buying or selling a home? Here's what to expect...

virtual meetings

Our agents can offer virtual meetings using Facetime, Google Meet, Skype, Zoom and other video chat platforms. They are also available for old-fashioned phone calls, too. Talk to your agent about your preferred method of communication.

virtual tours

We've added hundreds of homes with virtual tours to our website and mobile app, allowing you to tour homes in 3-D from the safety and comfort of your own home. In many cases, our agents are able to offer live home tours using Facetime, Google Meet or other video chat platforms. Read more about how to use our Virtual Tour Search.

digital signature

Buyers and sellers can sign paperwork digitally, thanks to DocuSign. Many lenders offer video chats and digital paperwork, and mobile notaries eliminate the need to leave home.

safety

With a seller's consent, our agents can offer private in-person showings following stringent safety protocols, including the use of face masks, providing sanitizing products, limiting the number of guests in a home, ensuring a 6-foot distance between guests, requiring guests to not touch anything in the home and other safety measures as requested by the seller or agent.

 

How we're helping

 

The Locations Foundation, our charitable foundation comprised of Locations agents and employees, has donated more than $30,000 to local non-profit organizations that support Hawaii residents affected by the coronavirus, including:

  • 25,000 surgical masks, a $21,000 value, to be distributed to local hospitals and non-profit organizations that work with the public; 
  • $5,000 to Hawaii Meals on Wheels, which continues to deliver meals to its most vulnerable clients;  
  • $5,000 to the Hawaii Foodbank, which has seen a dramatic increase in demand for food; 
  • $1,750 to Hawaiian Hope to purchase 500 computer mice to complete full computer packages that are distributed to families and children in need of a computer.
