Congratulations to Cannie Chum, 2023 Aloha 'Aina REALTOR Award Winner

On December 8, 2023, Locations Associate Partner and Realtor® Cannie Chum was recognized by the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® with a prestigious Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Award for exceptional client service. Nominated by her client, Cannie is one of just ten award winners selected by a panel of judges from more than 1,500 nominations.

This is Cannie's second Aloha 'Āina win—a remarkable achievement and a testament to her professionalism and exemplary service.

In their nomination of Cannie, her clients described how Cannie played a crucial role in selling two houses in Pearl City for a family struggling with tenant issues and property maintenance. Not only did Cannie address tenant conflicts, clean up abandoned belongings, and handle complex situations, but she also went above and beyond by assisting a struggling tenant family with obtaining electricity and finding a new rental. Despite challenges, Cannie's expertise, advice, and efforts led to three successful offers, leaving the family grateful for her exceptional support throughout the selling process.

A Realtor® in Hawaii for more than a decade, Cannie has earned several career accolades, including: Top 100 Hawaii Real Estate Agents, Locations' Most Transactions of the Year - Partner Award, Honorable Mention and Locations' Outstanding Partner in Sales Award, Honorable Mention. She has also received the Locations’ Diamond Society, Excellence Circle Club, Master’s Circle Club, Sapphire Society Club and Client Service award. 

Cannie has earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, a mark of excellence in the real estate industry, as well as the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) certification, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation and the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification. These credentials demonstrate her commitment to continuing her education and enable her to provide exceptional service to her clients.

With fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, Cannie's language skills have proven to be invaluable. She is also an active volunteer with the Locations Foundation, as well as a member of the Foundation’s Advisory Board.

The Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Awards Program™, which began in 1998, honors and publicly recognizes Realtors who excel in the real estate profession and provide exceptional service to their clients and colleagues. Nominations are only accepted from the public at large.

This year, 65 Locations agents were nominated by their clients for this distinguished award in 2023. In addition to Cannie, Locations agent Cindy Fullmer was also presented with a 2023 Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Award.
